Men’s Miami Dolphins Ryan Tannehill Nike White Limited Jersey

Ryan Tannehill’s season-ending left knee injury threw the Miami Dolphins’s 2017 season into flux in last August.

In the weeks and months since, Tannehill has found new ways to contribute to the team, being a presence at all practices, meetings, and being a fixture on the sidelines during games.

Head coach Adam Gase has been complimentary of Tannehill and how the sixth-year pro has conducted in the time since his surgery. Gase marveled at how quickly players can begin rehabilitating after surgery, saying Tannehill is “grinding already” back in late August.

More recently, Gase provided an update regarding Tannehill.

“He’s been doing a lot really inside, just with suggestions on if something goes a little haywire in practice of how to fix things,” Gase said.

Tannehill’s insight has also been helpful during games. Gase revealed, “He’s been good just trying to give me suggestions occasionally during games.”

“He’s been really good with just giving me subtle reminders of some of the things that he’d be thinking of in those situations. I think him and Jay [Cutler] have done a good job of talking through stuff and Ryan has been able to get to me sometimes during a series to where he can suggest some calls.”
